"Most Korin operatives that we capture are quickly executed," Kalia said softly as she closed down the network screens before she looked back up at the younger soldier. "Its hard trying to capture them in the first place--the other soldiers rarely show mercy. The Korin are a very real threat, Ryo. I hope you understand now why the break-in at the armory is such a big deal."
She stood up and straightened out her skirt and cape before looking back at Ryo. "Since I'm now finding out about how ignorance of the Korin, Spearman, I need to go speak to your superiors and find out what else is being kept from you," she said. "I'd stay away from his quarters for the time being. Chances are its not going to pretty," she said. "I'd extend you a transfer into my unit but unfortunately, I'm unable to do so with your upcoming transfer. In the meantime, try to calm down, and don't worry so much about the investigation. I've got Knight-Commander Alyssa Lightshield interested in the investigation, so it'll be in good hands. When you return from the north, we'll see about you getting transferred to my unit."
Thievery, terrorism, murder, lousy superiors, a transfer, and another potential transfer in the future. Just what else was he going to be informed of? At least those wretched Korin were being executed on the spot. Hadn't stopped him from fuming over it, though. Bah! What kind of attitude was that while he had a visitor? He'd just mope over it later. "Perhaps it would be best to serve under somebody less dismissive... I must also express my gratitude for your visit. It's certainly more than others would have done."

"Glad I could be of service, Spearman," Kalia said with a smile. She raised her fist up over her heart in the traditional Stamarian salute, something many soldiers would not expect to see initiated by a Knight of a higher rank. "You're a good soldier, Ryo. Better than people give you credit. Perhaps under the proper guidance, you can be one of our best. I hope things turn out well for you."

Kalia nodded and excused herself. She returned the chair where she found it and closed the door gently before she sighed in annoyance. I get the feeling today's going to get worse before it gets better, she thought irritably.
Opening up a magic screen, Kalia scrolled through the network until she found Ryo's profile again, and opened it up. She knew exactly where it'd list the name of his superior, and upon spotting it she quickly memorized it and looked up the location of his quarters. With his location in mind, the knight stalked off down the corridor, intent on finding him.
It was going to be a dark day for the man when she finally arrived.
