Name: Zacero Orestiv
Alias: N/a
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Nationality: Cher Plek
Appearance: Standing at 6 feet and 7 inches, Zacero is quite tall, matching his thin frame. Don't be deceived by his thinness however; he's as strong as an ox. Wiry arms hide the power in his firm shoulders and biceps, and his rib-bare torso blends with his cut, hard abdominal muscles. His face is narrow, coming to a point at his well defined chin, resting over a thin neck. His skin is pale, but not unbelievably so, his eyes a mossy green. Long hair falls over his eyes, but is so messy and unruly that it rarely falls flat on his head, but rather sticks out over his ears and even straight up in places.
Zacero wears the same basic clothing at all times. His torso is covered by light but tough black leather that zips up, covering his shoulders and leaving his arms bare. The collar on this is high to keep his neck warm in colder days. To protect the important parts of his arms are more thick leather pieces. On his elbows, matching black leather pads the joint, the outer bone structure protected by hard silver steel. His hands are covered with more black leather that covers up to between the first and second knuckles on his fingers. Zac wears black leather pants as well to protect his legs, fitted but not too tightly, he still looks like a respectable man. His boots are high, also matched to the rest of his attire, and laced tightly around his calf, almost reaching his knee. The sole of the shoe is silver steel, matching the pads on his elbows.
On Zacero's left arm is a tattoo of a shadow flame, the mark of his family.

Personality: Zacero is a reserved, calm, quiet, isolated, introvert. Raised in the jungle, he also has a fondness for the forest and its inhabitants, flora and fauna. He doesn't talk much, except to the animals around him, believing that only they can truly understand his thoughts and feelings. Fearing no natural element, not even fire, Zac has an affinity for elemental magic that he uses to make the forest better for its citizens, human, plant, and animal.
It's hard to flare this young man's temper, but if you manage to do it, beware the animals coming to his aid, because they won't let you off so easily. Zac loves to connect with the animals in the forest, and his biggest fear is nothing more than that he will lose his jungle.
Zac is honest, honorable, and more than that he is selfless. Nothing he does for you is meant to benefit him in any way.
Possessions: A thin sword, crafted by his father. The blade itself is about three feet long, shining and bright. The hand-guard is round with an Aztec pattern on it, completely gold. Just above it is a gold band, and beyond that, the handle is wrapped in green cloth, burgundy colored rope crossing neatly over it in a net-like pattern. The rope knots at the base of the hilt neatly.
Special Abilities: Incredible swordsmanship, forest stealth, "Animal Aptitude", and some elemental magic.
Forest stealth is the ability to blend in an almost chameleon-like way with the trees and forest in the immediate area, becoming completely invisible. This doesn't mean you're completely undetectable by any stretch of the imagination. Not everyone can control their sound entirely.
Animal aptitude is the ability to connect partially or completely with an animal or insect. A partial connection allows you to communicate with the animal to the point of gaining a combat ally. Complete connection forces your body to become completely limp as your mind enters the mind of the creature you have selected. You may see through its eyes, control its body, and communicate with other animals of the same species using this connection. The thing to remember is that your body is laying vulnerably in the forest somewhere. Not to be used in a hostile situation unless you can defend your body with the animal's. The animal's death in a complete connection can cause death of the human body as well. The animal's death in a partial connection can cause emotional damage, as you will have felt exactly what the creature felt as it died.
History: Born to a small tribe in the rainforests of Cher Plek, Zacero became part of a family more than just his parents. The tribe welcomed him, and the Chief named him Deer Speaker. Zacero. His last name, Orestiv. Of The Forest. He was raised in hopes of becoming a hunter, but when his parents realized that he was horrified by the prospect of killing a forest creature, they allowed him to train with the gatherers. But he didn't do well there either, unwilling to grind up any part of a plant for any reason.
Finally, he was sent to the tribal shaman, who explored his elemental abilities and found that he had a connection with the forest life. Honing the ability, it was discovered that Zacero could communicate with the animals and plants, and they would do his will. Speaking through his mind with them, he was able to call their assistance rather than do them harm. In this way, he learned that they were not upset by being made into meals and medicines. They were very aware that it was the way things were.
In this way, he was able to ease the mind of dying deer when they were slaughtered for the tribe, and calm the emotions of each plant that was used for medicine or other herbal creations.
Eventually, however, he could no longer bear the screams of dying deer and jaguars, nor the searing pain he felt when a leaf was crushed on a stone. He said farewell to his tribe and traveled out on his own. He was sure to kill only sleeping animals and eat only the fruit of a plant. Harming no animal while it had reason to feel pain.
As he spent more time on his own, he learned well how to use a sword, even returning to his village a few times to test his skill against the best warriors they had. When he had bested the strongest warrior, he finished his training, and his father awarded him the family sword, sharp as ever and shining bright.
Now, though he loves his jungle, he's prepared to enter the cities in an attempt to find somewhere to use his skills.
Miscellaneous: Frequently found with an animal companion at his side when in the forest.
