Michael nodded in response, "It would be cliche to ask if you liked it here. Or at least, I imagine it would." He admitted jokingly. "But what I'd like to do is get to know you, Second Lieutenant. As a person. Do you have any hobbies?"
He stopped at a bank of elevators and pressed the call-button, then turned and gave his full attention to the young soldier.

The teenage soldier glanced at him briefly before looking back ahead. "The training and tests we undergo did not allow us time for us to find hobbies, sir," she told him. "We were created to be super soldiers, not civilians."

Michael shook his head sadly, "That is exactly the answer I was fearing." He said softly.
"They've trained you to be a soldier in technicality it would seem, but the scientists forget all of the other attributes that make soldiers truly a force to be feared."
By then the elevator had arrived, and with a hushed "ding" the doors opened. Michael stepped inside. "I presume you are proficient in combat, Second Lieutenant?" He questioned. "What of aid-giving, did they give you any courses in medical work?"

"Of course, Knight-Commander," Yui replied as she followed him inside. "I'm proficient in administering first aid both on and off the battlefield."

"Excellent." Michael acknowledged with an inclination of his head. "Well then, I suppose my questions can come later, after you meet the rest of our unit. Do you have any questions of me?" He questioned, a sardonic smile upon his lips. "Seeing as I asked you some, tis only fair that you get your chance as well."

"I have no queries at the moment," Yui informed the Knight-Commander. "I have already been informed of the role the Order of the Blade is to perform in my training and of my duties within the unit."

Michael nodded silently. Still unsure what to make of the young girl. He didn't trust the doctors nearly enough to believe that they'd imparted everything a soldier needed to know.
"Very well, no questions at this time. We'll take the airship back to my unit, I imagine it will be a long flight." He grimaced as his wounds once again made themselves known. "And I'll be spending most of it recuperating from injuries. Unless otherwise ordered, we return to Zailleon and our regular duties."

"Understood, Knight-Commander," Yui replied, nodding to the older soldier.
