The Manu’mitters of Korinus
Every rebellion has heroes – those who commit everything they possess to the digression of their enemy, and the Korin are no different. Hailing themselves as the Manu’mitters of Korinus himself, these men and women have adopted the role of freedom-bringers for the Korin. Gathered from all corners of the globe, they fight to release individuals, villages, towns, cities, and countries from the bonds that tie them to Stamaria. While members of the Manu’mitters are scattered all across the planet in strategic positions, many offering abilities beyond just combat prowess, this group is thought of most famous for its acts in Cher Plek, reclaiming lost Korin territory.
Feared by defenders and revered by captive, the Manu’mitters have spread their name to both enemy and ally alike as a relentless force persecuting captured territory, and they are largely responsible for the lack of a definite advance into Cher Plek. While originally just a band of simple freedom fighters, their actions soon attached them to the Korin military effort. Given the general flexibility of the Korin’s army, the Manu’mitters recognize little command besides loyalty to the freedom they desperately fight for. As such, they are on good terms with the Harbinger, his mother, and the other appointed commanders amidst the Korin forces, and their efforts can be largely attributed to direction by these Korin leaders.
While the majority of Korin strike-forces gain their advantage with their agility and information, the Manu’mitters of Korinus stand relatively distinct in their own tactics. While possessing many “traditional” Korin operatives among them, they also diverge from the norm with several different mediums such as a handful of heavy-soldiers, a number of the Architects of Iyelus, and a high concentration of skilled battle-magi.
Unlike the standard distribution of magi in all sorts of military throughout the world, the Manu’mitters have trained each of theirs to be fully capable of contributing as much with magic as with a blade. Because of this, they are dressed identically to the general standard, which causes an effective cloak over their true strength.
Much like of the Paragon are for Stamaria, the Manu’mitters represent the elite of the Korin. Known by their enemies as anarchists and savages, they are propaganda made reality for the Korin cause. From small-recaptures of towns in Cher Plek to large scale operations such as the liberation of Acera, these men and women will throw everything they have against Stamaria to cease the rushing wave of hegemony.
