In the arctic southern pole of Ymaggion, the frozen wasteland of Cyra coldly sits, seemingly untouched by civilization. The coast is sharp and vertical, extending hundreds of feet above the frigid water with sheer walls of ice. Very few creatures can stand to live in this cold, and those that do can barely survive it. Vision is limited here, extending only a few hundred feet in any direction by the coast, and getting consistently worse as it goes further inland.
However, within the last decade or two, things have appeared that no one could have imagined in Cyra. Excavation is as slow as an iceberg moving, but bit by bit researchers have found larger and larger structures, buried deep beneath the stone and ice. Initial research began when the Ice Temple was discovered by satellite, and while explorers decidedly stay away from this Temple, it sparked the interest of excavation.
The area as a whole is nearly as forsaken as the Lands beyond the Great Wall, but it does not seem as intent on killing everything inside of it as the northern lands. Stamaria and the Korin are consistently at a conflict when it comes to research in Cyra, both sides deeply intrigued by the secrets that these frozen lands may hold.
