Darklighter stopped abruptly infront of the pit, waiting for the man to catch up. The pit was well disguised, hidden beneath a pile of shrubs and plant life, with enough covering to fool electronic sensors into thinking it was safe. Oh how I love this part.
"Hey, I need to test something. Go stand out there, about twenty feet that way." Darklighter pulled back his sleeve, and readied the PEHD.
"Unless of course, you are some paranoid freak." Darklighter put his left hand on his pistol. His eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Trust me." Darklighter pulled down his mask, revealing a completely different face. he smiled, and pulled the mask back up. Darklighter drew the pistol, and looked around.
"Something's coming. Move now." Darklighter spoke forcefully, putting emphasis on the 'now'. He glared at the man, and waved him along with his handgun.
Kent finally caught up. He met Lighter just in time to hear him say to stand over there.
The challenging remark and face that followed set his mental alarms off, not to mention a nastly look behind Kent's helmet. What was it now? Target practice? This could be painful...
He walked over, when he heard Darkligher warn him. He glanced at scanners, and nothing came up. Perhaps the enemy was hidden? If so, how would Lighter know? He cautiously moved quickly along more concealed terrain.

Darklighter pressed a button on the touch screen of the PEHD, and triggered the telekinesis function. He dropped the ground beneath Vulcan's feet, sending a mass of dirt down to the bottom of the pit. Darklighter chuckled, and took aim with his rifle.
Let's see here... what to shoot... OH! Is that a jet pack? Darklighter squeezed the trigger, and sent a high caliber slug straight at the pack. Without a sound, the bullet left the barrel of the gun, and flew at the jetpack.
Darklighter smiled, and jumped down into the pit. "You're gonna be here a while boy." Darklighter pulled out his pistol and knife, and prepared for combat.
A portion of the nanobot shield broke off, and the round embedded itself within Kent's jetpack, who exclaimed an unfinished curse in surprise, meeting none other with Darklighter.
Another trap? This guy is crazy.
After hearing Darklighters comment, he replied: "Being here awhile? I have other modes of transportation, you know. It's called feet."
His features faded into the enviroment, while on the inside his armor switched to full combat readiness. With his wrist blades extended, he dashed around Darklighter before lunging at his side at near-blinding speeds.

Darklighter laughed as he sidestepped the man, getting just out of reach of the knife. He shot at Vulcan's left foot and yelled.
"In case you can't tell, WE'RE IN A PIT! Ya ain't gettn' out unless you can fly or teleport. Now, you call that knife fighting?" Darklighter extended his own arm blades, and holstered his pistol. He drew his two Ka-Bar knifes, and stood in a defensive position. Quickly, he pressed a button on the PEHD.
"Nice helmet. Computer interface?" Darklighter pressed a button again, and accessed the view from inside the mask.
"Hm. This is an issue..." Darklighter pressed another button.
"Blindness. It's a wonderful thing. Especially since your technology cannot help you now." Darklighter chuckled, and pressed the button, activating the PEHD. Darklighter then turned himself invisible, and silently approached Vulcan. He walked behind the man, and put the ka-bar to the Vulcan's throat.
"Hm. I'm impressed" whispered Darklighter. "You get to stay. Or at least, once you can find a way out of the pit. Here's the key to your house. Big mansion, marked 14. We clear? Good." Darklighter disappeared, after using the PEHD to teleport back to Razortooth Square.
(OOC: Woah, woah, woah, hold up, hold up. How do you know you apporached me? Not to mention dodging a human projectile moving at several miles per hour. The latter, I can possiby deal with, but the former, not so much. That being said...)
Instead of trying to steady himself after the rush, Kent instead used his momentum to run up the walls, and hydralulicaly kick off opposings sides until he landed to saftey on the higher ground, dropping a grenade as he ran.
At about this point, Vulcan's sight went black. He inwardly groaned in annoyment. He initiated a brief restart of the suit's systems, and vision was restored. After vision was restored, Kent then went on to conceal himself some ways away from the pit.
