Michael grimaced as he felt Pyra bump past him, scrambling and obviously blinded by the light from Fidelis. It was then that he realized there was a third Dodango, and Pyra had run right into it.
A deep growl emanated from his throat, he couldn't let the child die. With a roar he charged forward, praying he would be fast enough to pull Pyra away from the beast.

(OOC: I realize how late this is, and I'm not even sure, Stein, if you can continue. Considering how long I've been gone I guess I could suspect you figured I just left and moved your character somewhere else. But if not...here ya go, after...what...four months?)
The creature loomed down still over the hurt girl. Its breath stank of smoke and decaying flesh. As Pyra moved her head slightly and was able to catch sight of the embers that glowed and danced within the dobongo's mouth. The dodrago began to open its mouth, fire seeping out in small licks, dying only inches from Pyra's face and hair. She whimpered, again on the verge of tears and another scream. The digdango reeled back its head slightly, ready to gush out a blaze of fire, but before it could, Pyra gave out her scream. Her scream, however, was not the only thing that erupted from her downed body.
As her mouth formed that wide O, her hand shot forward and out came a blaze of fire summoned from her own powers. This caught the dergdango off guard and while her fire was not nearly as intense as the dangdodon's, it was hot enough for the creature to take a step back and hold its fire.
"Go away, you big meanie!!" Pyra screamed, her voice rising a pitch or so. She began to rise herself, and shot out some more fire from her hands. She now stood lowly, her knees still cocked from not entirely standing up straight, almost as if there was a low ceiling and she simply couldn't lest she bang her head. The dodonger gave off a low growl and took a step back as the fire continue to shoot out as if from a weak flamethrower. It took only a moment, however, for the dodangasaurus-rex to realize that the fire wasn't nearly as dangerous as Pyra tried to make it seem. It was about to return fire when Michael finally reached the creature.

(OOC: Don't worry 'bout it, Blazen. Michael is actually still in roughly the same area. Depending on what happens, I can just say this took place a few days before or after that thread)
Without pausing, Michael slammed into the Dodongo and bowled it over onto it's side with the force of his assault. For good measure, he gave it a good, sharp kick in the head with his boot, and then brought down his blade in a heavy blow against it's neck, hopefully severing it.
He stood there like that for a moment, over the scorched corpse of the creature, his blade dug deep into its flesh. Finally, he shook his head to clear it, and pulled the blade. Fidelis came cleanly from the corpse, as though passing through water. he flicked it once or twice to rid it of most of the blood, and then sheathed it before turning to Pyra.
"Child, I apologize for the light. I did not mean to frighten you." He spoke softly, kindly.
"Did it hurt you?"
