A scream was let out in between the the forest. It was not a scream of fright but one of anger. If you closed in on the source of the scream you will find trees with slash marks on them. Theres no reason to be alarmed or frightened. Just an angry person letting out their anger is all that is happening. Fabia slashed a tree with her longsword. The tree already had several slash marks on it.
The woman was usually more composed then this. She however decided to let out her anger since she thought nobody would be around to know about it. She was angry because she was lost. This was something she refused to accept, because she was a bounty hunter. Hunters shouldnt get lost because they need to find their target. It was true she hasn't been one for long she was fairly new to this trade, but she refused to accept failure.
She breathed heavily as she has been slashing trees for nearly half an hour. She has also screamed out hoping it would calm her down some too. She wasn on a job now thankfully because if she was and got lost she would be working her way and chopping trees instead of slashing randomly. She stabbed the ground with her sword and dug it into the earth a bit. She wanted to rest. She sat down on the ground and rested her back on the sword. Her angry thoughts focused on how she got lost and before she knew it she fell asleep.

Not too far away, a man with white spiked hair, brownish-red eyes, and pale skin was running towards the source of the scream he heard awhile back. Aside from his pale skin, he has a demon arm with a deep red color which also seems to be spreading across his chest. Their are yellow markings up this arm in the form of a script. Near the shoulder and on the wrist of his demon arm are 'locks' so to speak, thick circular metallic rings with a green glow strip around them.
He wears a blue battle vest with purple laced cotton for the trim with no undershirt, so his fairly built abs were out in the open. His headgear is a japanese light-metal battle cap and he wears common blue jeans.
His hand holding onto the hilt of his zanbato behind his shoulders, he ran on, following the slash marks on several trees. Eventually, he found a woman sleeping next to a sword implanted in the ground. He blinked with a confused look on his face at such a curious sight. He thought someone was in trouble. Apparently, the woman handled it herself. Whoever or whatever it was that made those marks was gone now.
Contemplating on whether he should just leave her there or not, he sighed. Well, can't just leave her here for some monster to stroll by and use her as a meat jerky.
Walking over to the side of the sleeping woman, he gently nudged her with his boot, "Hey, wake up..."
"Ugh, as if I don't have enough problems already..."
The Demon Knight took his water tank off from around his waist. He opened the lid and gently let loose some drops of water onto the woman's forehead. It was better than just dumping the entire thing on her and have her cuss at him for the rude awakening. Besides, he needs his water... he hasn't had anything to eat for awhile and is also quite lost. Little by little the drops fell gently and started to stream down the side of her head and into the ground.
Sleeping gently on the sword she had placed in the ground. Fabia had no realization she had fallen asleep. Her dreams went from nothing to swirling colors, of every color you could think of. Fabia stood there for some reason also made of a variety of swirling colors. Then suddenly the swirling colors stopped and dropped like rain. Making splashing sounds. The drops crashed turning into a river, but each raindrop turned into its own individual river. These multiple rivers soon expanded and collided with each other. The rivers fused together creating an ocean. The swirling colored ocean swept over Fabia. Her body turned black, grey and white. She found herself sinking in a ever expanding body of water. Trying to kick and reach her arm up and get out, but she couldnt.
Fabia woke then after her "drowning" as her eyes suddenly opened. She found water droplets on her forehead running down her face. She couldnt see them but she sure could feel them and she recognized it. That could explain her dream now realizing she had fallen asleep. Still a bit sleepy she was unsure where the raindrops came from. She wiped them off with her black sleeves. She looked over and found a man pouring the drops onto her head. "What are you doing?" She asked as she started to get up.
She slowly started to stand then wiped off the dirt off of her legs and black dress. She didnt know why the man was doing this. Just putting water on her as she was.....asleep. Her cheecks flushed as she realized she was sleeping and a man found her. Who knows what couldve happen had she not woken. She grabbed her sword and plucket it out. She watched him cautiously waiting for an answer.
The man let out a sigh of relief... if this hadn't woken her he probably would have dumped the entire freak'n thing.
"Simply waking you up." He stated. "I wouldn't want to have another regret if I just left you here for some monster to come along. It'd probably pick you out of it's teeth with that sword of yours. Now that your awake.."
The man put the lid back on his container and strapped it back on.
It would seem that the stranger was doing a good deed. She felt a bit ashamed and embarassed on what she first thought earlier. Its sometimes hard to see the good in people, where there are so many bleak and corrupt souls ruining the images of the kind. She smiled gratefully upon hearing what he did. "Thank you she said for his kindness.
Upon looking at him she found him rather cute. Then she saw something strange. One of his arms was redish with yellow markings. She had no idea what it was or meant. It had this ominous feel to it. She had a feeling something evil from it but he showed her an act of kindness even though he didnt have to. Despite what the arm was, he himself seemed kind. She wanted to get to know him for some reason, as if she had to be friends with him. At the least to know what kind of person he was.
He bid his farewell and began to walk away. "W-wait. Do you know the area around here? I hate to admit it, but I'm lost and dont know where to go. Im afraid I'll end up somewhere awful and opposite of my destination." She finished with a sigh. It was hard for he t admit a flaw, which was that she was lost. She wasnt sure what was was wanting from him but time seemed to slow while she waited for a response.
The man stopped walking, but didn't turn around. Not many people would ask him for his help. Hell, most people run from him at the sight of his arm, for they know how scary a Demon Knight can be... Still, shes better off without him. A Demon Knight seems to bring nothing but trouble for him and the people around him, and this, he won't deny.
When she asked him her question, he responded with a bit of an annoyed sigh. "Your not the only one whose lost." He stated.
"And no, I won't travel with you." He quickly picked up on what she was trying to do. "Your better off without me. Trust me on this."
She waited for his answer but after she asked he stopped walking and sighed. It sounded like an irritated sigh and not a relievng one. Did he find her annoting? Instead after the sigh he said she wasnt the only one lost. So the sigh was because he himself was ost too. Some places wee tricky to navigate through. So both of them were lost here wherever they were in this land.
After he said that he was lost as well he quickly said he wouldnt travel with her. Did he thought she wanted to tag along? She wanted to ask him to merely point the way out."Oh I'm sorry it seems I sent out mixed signals. I just wanted you to point the way for me." she said in defense. She didnt want him to get the wrong idea. Now that she thought about it both of them traveling together seemed nice."I like your idea though. Why dont we travel together. You say I'm better off however you seem like a good person, I have no reason to distrust you yet. If we travel together we might actually be able to help each other along the way and get back to civilization" She said hoping he would agree. She then realized she was still holding out her sword. She then sheathed her longsword and looked back at him.
Civilization... a few small towns he found before, except he woke up to find his Seal Rings off at one before. One of his close friends decided to take them off while he was sleeping, simply to make him more comfortable. What his friend didn't know, was that those Seal Rings wasn't for protecting himself. It was meant to protect those around him... He lost a good friend just because of this curse.
"I gotta learn to keep my mouth shut..." He said under his breath. Better to tell her now... He thought.
"You see this?" He lifted his demonic arm up a bit. "I lost my friends to death because of this. My family was smart enough to cast me out of town at the mere sight of this, as do other towns. They know... how scary Demon Knights can be..."
He looked down to the ground with a solemn look at that last sentence.
"People run on sight of me, I suggest you do the same. I don't need anymore innocent blood on my hands..."

The Iceman cometh....
The pale man walked through the forest with his blade drawn and held out to his side, point down. His chin was pressed against his chest, and took a deep breath each time one of his feet hit the ground. His long coat fluttered in the wind, and a few specks of snow fell through the forest.
A few hunters patrolled through the forest with their bows drawn. "Snow? Here? How the hell..."
Sturm smiled as he heard the men. "Well..." he said, letting his words trail away. He lifted his head and reached inside his coat. 'I'm the Iceman." He grabbed two of his throwing knives with one hand and flung them at the hunters. Both men fell dead. He recovered the knives, and kept walking.
The Iceaman cometh.....
Several more people were standing nearby, talking. The Iceman tightened his grip on his sword and prepared to attack, until he saw the one man lift up his demonic arm.
A demon knight.... not something you see everyday.... I like...
He sheathed his sword and stood up straight. "Helloooo there.... My name is Sturm...... I believe that you two are a little.... out of your element, and I was thinking that you could use some help. You see, a very dangerous man loves to stalk this area. You.... may require my assistance traversing this forest.... I'd love to help you...." He looked at the Demon Knight's arm. "I've seen your kind before. Impressive warriors...." Sturm rubbed the scar on his neck, and smiled, showing his straight white teeth. "Trust me here...."
(I can only hope this thread does not get flooded with members as the last. I dont mind people which is why I kept it as open. But people please dont come in rushing after 10+ posts)
Fabia stared at him after she said what she wanted. It sounded like he muttered something to himself. He raised his arm and explained it a bit. He said demon knight. Could that mean thats its a demon arm? she doesnt really know much about it nor did she fully understand. What she did understand is that he was being kind and trying to scare her off so she wouldnt get hurt. Another act of kindness.
He was an outcast, she as a runaway could share sympathy with him. He relly didnt want to hurt her. He was trying to protect others. It would seem that whatever that arm was he couldnt control it. However it would seem he had his ways to maitain it but wanted to be on the safe side. She could be looking to far into this. She shook her head."No theres noneed for me to runaway. 'm sorry for your loss, but I wont leave you. You've shown me enough that your kind. I have no reason to fear you." She said wlking closer to him. "I dont care what that thing is. That arm does not define who you are.Now do you really want to travel alone? Im actually wanting to get to know you. You may have lost past friends but I can be a new one" She took out her left hand and extended it to him.
Just as she took out her arm hoping he would tke it she heard another voice. She looked over to the source to find an odd man. For some reason she couldnt trust him. It was most likely due to the fact that he was talking in a odd manner. Yet again another mention of demon knight. She'll have to ask later what they are, but instead took this as an advantage."Yes they are impressive warriors, which is why we are traveling together through here. You dontn have to worry about us we're plenty safe, but I thank you for your concern." She then used her already extended hand and grabbed his demond hand not caring about it. She then looked at thhe other man."Thank you again for your worries but we'll be fine. I bid you fareweel and a good day to you sir." She made a courtsy attempt and tried to walk off while pulling Baron. For the most part you shouldnt trust in strangers but Baron has shown her plenty of reason for her to believe in him.
"Wait... huh?" As he looked towards the strange man, Baron found himself being pulled away by the lady he had just met. Keeping his voice low enough so that only she can hear it, he spoke, "Considering hes the only one not lost, he may be able to help... I don't like the looks of him either. If he tries anything I'll be sure to add another scar to his collection."
Great... one after another. What's next? He thought.

OOC: Zane has given me use of his character for this post)
Sturm rolled his eyes as the woman tried leading the Demon Knight away.
"Now now dearest, I'm sure that your Demon Knight boyfriend can defend himself against an old man like myself." He smiled again, and put his hand on his sword.
Baron quickly dismissed the statement, and told Sturm that Fabia was not his girlfriend, and that they had just met. Sturm just nodded and said that he hoped it would all work out.
Sturm walked on ahead, and waved his free hand, gesturing for the two others to come along. Reluctantly, Baron followed, and told Fabia that she should come along as well.
"So..." said Sturm, "What's that band around your arm? It looks like.... Some kind of magic.... I love magical trinkets." Quickly, Sturm wheeled around, and grabbed Baron's arm. he yanked the band off, and started to study it. Baron screamed and grabbed for it.
"You.... Fool..." He muttered as he became more and more demonic. Sturm swore and drew his blade.
As Fabia pulled the new man she met he spoke to her. He suggested it might be safe being with this odd stranger. He too didnt seem to trust him. But it would seem he would fend him off should the odd stranger doe something. Well she too knew how to fight so two on one might be better. Sturm called Barpn her boyfriend and she blushed as soon as he did that, but it would seem Baron quickly responded saying they werent.
She blushed again when sturm said he hoped it would all work out. She wasnt really sure why she was blushing though. She just met Baron and she didnt even know his name yet. She let go of barns hand as he suggested following the strange man. She decided to follow believing they could defend themselves should anything happen. Not long afterwards Sturm turned around and asked about Barons arm.
He then pulled off one of his arm a band. Baron muttered and his arm started to change. It was becoming very demonic in sight. So this is this why hes called a demon knight? It was scary but it would seem that band was controlling his arm. But it was off now."Breathe this sleeping powder! It might help!" she said. She breathed in deeply and blew out a white sleeping powder at Baron. Perhaps if he was asleep the arm would stop and wouldnt do much. She continued blowing out sleeping powder. The larger the amount breathed in the more one falls asleep so she wanted him knocked out not drowzy.
Baron had lost all thought and gained all the instinct of a bloodthirsty monster... though he was still smart enough about certain things when it comes to combat.
Baron leapt backwards, away from the sleeping powder and then darted at Sturm... considering his anger was pointed at him in the first place. When Baron was close enough, he flipped over Sturm and attempted to grab his back and pick him up from behind. If he manages to do so, Sturm will find some of his life force be sucked away and into the strength of the monstrosity that was Baron. Then half the energy consumed will be used as a sideways powerful gush of blood. The force will be strong enough to knock Sturm into Fabia and then both would end up hitting a tree.

Sturm felt the man grab his back and attempt to lift him. Thinking quickly, Sturm slashed at his coat with his sword, cutting himself free of his trench coat, leaving Baron with nothing but cloth in his hands. After muttering a quick prayer, Sturm summoned a blizzard, creating a massive visibility blocking snowstorm.... in the middle of a tropical jungle. All practical visibility now was limited to a five foot radius. Sturm felt Death's Eyes take effect, and he saw all life in the area illuminated by a purple haze. Sturm ran forward, out of the demon's sight.
Sturm then summoned a snowball, and tossed it through the blizzard, right at the demon's head. He then readied a frost bolt, and prepared to throw it.
Let's try this bad boy up for size... Sturm hurled the ice like a javelin, straight at the demon.
