This thread is for suggestions on which kinds of creatures should be added into our little world of Ymaggion. Robots, dragons, elemental beings, mythical creatures, half-human beasts, mutated animals... you name it! I will list all of the good ideas in this board in their own separate threads.
Unlike other aspects of the site, it is perfectly okay to suggest canon creatures from other media, such as TV shows, video games, movies, and books. Please, for now, refrain from suggesting extraterrestrials.

I have a suggestion. But this doesn't exactly fit into any current bestiary category threads. Such as elementals, dragons, undead.
I was thinking about plants. Like maybe a new thread for any thing that can be listed as a different species of plant. Like carnivorous plants bigger then humans or half breed animals half mammal half plants, or even trees that can walk and think for themselves. I know myself i would like to suggest many plant related creature themes. But i was wondering if it would be all right if we add a new thread specifically for plants?

I think we can work something out for that.

I'm seeing a lot of monsters from Zelda, I think this site could use more Monster Hunter influence. Tigrex - A large, and truely monstrous creature. The Tigrex appears for all the world to be a massive, lizard-like creature with extended fore-arms with wing protrusions, and a lengthened neck. It's bright, orange scales and royal, blue stripes are symbolic of the creature. The Tigrex is well known as one of the most violent creatures in the world, turning to bloodlust at the sight of any intruder or potential prey. Any land it claims as territory will most assuredly be cleared of any other predators, ensuring that the Tigrex alone lays claim to all prey items within it's domain. Perhaps the scariest feature of the Tigrex is not it's sheer brutality or it's incredible strength, but perhaps it's endurance to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, which allows the Tigrex to inhabit a vast scope of different landscapes and environments. Even the mightiest and craftiest of sentients weigh carefully the consequences of facing a Tigrex head-on. Daimyo Hermitaur - The natives who first discovered this creature nicknamed it "the Shield Lord", for it's incredibly thick and durable carapace, which is strong enough to rival most metals, but light enough to allow the monster to carry itself with a surprising speed. The Daimyo Hermitaur appears to be a monstrously huge crab, pale red with white stripes and black eyes that stick out in an alien manner. Upon it's back, it carries the skull of a long-dead monster with a terrifying horn. It can often be seen leisurely skitting around in the sand, picking out any sort of decaying morsel off the ground and calmly going on it's merry way. An enraged Daimyo, however, is a true sight to behold, no longer slow and lumbering, it charges at aggressors with surprising speed and tenacity, swiping at enemies with it's massive, armored claws and spitting jets of water with enough force to shatter trees. Worse yet, the Daimyo Hermitaur is capable of tunneling beneath the sand and striking foes from beneath with incredible force, making good use of the shell on it's back to bash, smash, and pummel foes into dust. Daimyo Hermitaurs often start life as smaller, less threatening creatures known simply as "Hermitaurs", which are no more than 4 feet tall. Nobody has ever seen a Hermitaur grow much larger than that, and it is assumed they hibernate beneath the ground while making the final, drastic metamorphosis into adults.

I've been contemplating adding creatures from Monster Hunter. Let me get some in-game experience for them (As I have Tri) to get a feel for them, and I'll add some.

I've been contemplating adding creatures from Monster Hunter. Let me get some in-game experience for them (As I have Tri) to get a feel for them, and I'll add some. Unfortunately, the monsters I listed do not exist in Tri. In fact only 3 monsters from the other games were included into Tri. Diablos, Rathian, and Rathalos. The rest are absolutely and completely new. Which kinda irks me because I miss my Carapaceons. ):

Um... well... crap. Well at least we'll finally have a giant enemy crab. Tigrex will go into the Reptilians section while the Hermitaur will go in the Aquatic Creatures section.
