I am currently restricting certain subjects from being broached on the site's chatbox due to the frequency of arguments that appear on it when the subject is concerned. Frankly, I am tired of it, and therefore will not put up with it any longer.
The subjects to be restricted are as follows.
I do not want any mention of it on the chatbox whatsoever. Any mention of it will result in a week-long ban from the chatbox for all of those involved, regardless of whether or not they are a guest, a regular member, or a staff member: if it is brought up by you or further discussed by you publicly, you will be banned from the 'box for it. The list itself can be updated with new forbidden subjects as much as necessary by me as problems arise.
You are welcome to discuss the subjects among one another using private messages. But it seems when discussed on the chatbox, it becomes entirely too inflammatory, which is why I will no longer allow it.
Should these problems continue to arise on the chatbox, I have another simple solution: I will remove it entirely, and I will refuse any requests or pleas to bring it back.
So, to everyone on the site: its your call now. I've made my decision.
