TO START A GUILD, YOU MUST HAVE TWO EXISTING CHARACTERS TO START IT UP.
Guild Name: This is your guild’s name. Please keep the names realistic and if you need to, use a translator for foreign language guild names.
Members: What members of the guild were present at its founding? Those are the names that should be put here when you create your guild. One of your characters and one of somebody else would have to have cooperated to accomplish succesfully founding the guild, and possibly more. List the names of those characters here, along with links to their profiles. As other members join, you can add them to the list by asking for that in the Request board.
Headquarters: This is the location in which the headquarters of your guild are based, typically in cities because of the ample resources in both information and goods and equipment.
Recruitment: This is where you describe how new members are recruited into the guild. What does the guild look for in new members? Do they look for a strong arm, a witty tongue or a keen eye and an intelligent mind? What do the members-to-be have to do to become members of the guild? (100 words minimum.)
The Ranks: Every organization, at least a well-organized one, has some kind of chain of command. In the army, you have a sergeant leading soldiers, captains leading sergeants and generals leading captains. It is in this section that you describe what the ranks within your guild are. Add a little to what power they hold within the guild. It is likely that everyone, except maybe the leader of the guild, is bound by certain rules. Even the leader of the guild can’t do certain things, such as randomly order to execute lower-ranking members. Also, what does a member have to do to achieve that rank? Does he need to complete a certain amount of missions or pay a monthly tithe for a certain amount of time? You should try to come up with fairly original names for guild member ranks, perhaps related to the name of the guild itself. (50 words minimum per rank.)
Perks: What are the advantages to being part of this guild? Does your guild have a number of techniques that they share with one another, perhaps thematically fit to what your guild aims to achieve?
Guild History: The history of your guild is the most important part of creating one. It lets us know everything about your guild and how they came to be. The first thing you want to focus on is the history of its founder or founders, as we need some background on them and how they progressed into the creation of the guild. There are also other key factors that you should include. One is how exactly the guild was created; it didn’t just poof out of nowhere, so we need to know how it came into existence. It is imperative to be highly descriptive. (100 words minimum. We may ask you to add more, which can be likely in the case of a powerful guild. The more influential the guild is, the more you should have in your history.)
